In July 2006 in Southern Lebanon, a group of five people were unable to leave a house while the war between Hezbollah and Israel continued. On this premise, video artist and filmmaker Ahmad Ghossein based his first feature narrative. The London Palestine Film Festival is proud to present its UK Premiere after an award-winning debut at the 2019 Venice Film Festival. In this reality-based fiction, Marwan takes advantage of a ceasefire to head down in search of his father who has refused to leave his village, only to find himself stuck with an odd ensemble of elders with too much experience in this kind of setting. But tensions rise inside and outside of the house as Israeli soldiers occupy the floor above them. Questions start to mount and the greater picture becomes more and more opaque. Wry, dark humour merges with anxiety in this  docudrama lead by the immersive score by multi-instrumental composer, Khyam Allami.
