Nine voices from Gaza. Nine people who tell of their lives before and amid the destruction, in the neighbourhoods whose outlines they draw in chalk on the ground.
Nicolas Wadimoff creates a stark space in which nine refugees retrace the places they once called home, sharing memories of the lives they left behind. Through gestures and silences, their testimony foregrounds the individuality of people whose lives have been disrupted by displacement and loss. Their stories become an intimate act of remembrance, reconnecting them with who they were and who they remain.
