A portrait of the greatly beloved performer Alaa Meqdad, displaced from his home in Gaza City. With extraordinary optimism, he brings laughter to children in hospitals and tent camps through his alter ego, Aloosh the clown.
One More Show (Palestine, Egypt, 2025, Mai Saad and Ahmed Al Danaf, 72’)
Struggling with the uncertainty of their own fate, the Free Gaza Circus troupe defies despair during the genocide by performing for children in shelters and on the streets. In the face of displacement, they turn their craft into an act of defiance, holding onto moments of joy in the darkest of times.
